Reverend Ouida W. Harding, Doctor of Worship Studies

Dr.Ouida W. Harding is ordained, highly respected and a proudly radical woman of purposefulministry. Music just happens to be HER tool of calling. In 2003, Ouidareceived the Master of Arts In Church Music degree (leadership) from TheInterdenominational Theological Center, Atlanta, GA.  In 2007, Ouida(pronounced “wee-dah”) was licensed by Rev. Dr. Winston R. Rudolph andthe congregation of the Abyssinian Baptist Church of Pompano, Floridawith the charge to make a difference in Church Music Ministry leadership. Ouidareceived her Doctoral degree in Worship Studies (June 2012) fromthe R. E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies. Because of Dr.Harding’s distinct perspective on the position “Minister of Music”in the Black Baptist Church; Pastor Errol D. Gilliard, the GreaterHarvest Baptist Church and Ministers Conference of Baltimore,Maryland helped to further this paradigm shift in music ministry and ordainedher as the first Minister of Music for Worshipin September 2012. In 2013, Dr. Harding (a Harlem, New York native)piloted an experimental course in music ministry leadership at The New YorkTheological Seminary
